Job Summary

Support the implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of Aldar’s Environmental Management System (EMS) across construction and development projects, ensuring compliance with UAE environmental legislation, EAD requirements, Estidama, and ISO 14001 standards while promoting environmental best practices and sustainability objectives.

Job Function: Environmental & Sustainability

Key Responsibilities

•Implement and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS), including environmental policies, procedures, objectives, and targets.
•Ensure compliance with UAE environmental laws, EAD requirements, Estidama, and ISO 14001 standards across projects.
•Monitor PMCs, consultants, and contractors for compliance with EIAs, CEMPs, environmental permits, policies, and targets.
•Coordinate and follow up on obtaining environmental permits and NOCs from project initiation through handover.
•Conduct regular site inspections and internal/external environmental audits, including second-party audits.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related discipline
•ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
•Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Environmental Engineering
•UAE / GCC experience preferred
•Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC environmental regulations
