Job Summary

Provide and coordinate outpatient patient care by assessing health needs, implementing and monitoring care plans, and documenting patient status. Work with physicians and other healthcare specialists to collect and analyze patient data, identify nursing diagnoses, and determine expected outcomes. Deliver essential life support, administer medications and treatments, support safe admission/transfer/discharge, and promote patient health and a safe environment while communicating clearly in English.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide and coordinate patient care, educating patients and the public, and offering advice and emotional support to patients and families.
•Assess and identify patient needs, implement and monitor the patient’s medical plan and treatment with a healthcare team.
•Perform systematic patient assessment/re-assessment and collect pertinent patient data.
•Create, evaluate, and update patient care plans with an interprofessional team, collaborating with patients and bystanders.
•Record vital signs, recognize and escalate abnormalities, administer medications/treatments, provide wound care, and support safe admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Requirements

•Hold an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with qualifications/experience required by the relevant regulatory health authority.
•Manage professional re-licensure.
•Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
•Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
•Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
