Key Responsibilities

  • •Assign work, follow schedules, resolve discrepancies, and ensure work is completed on time.
  • •Train and develop operators/assemblers/technicians, assess personnel performance, and identify training needs.
  • •Troubleshoot and test mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies/sub-assemblies/top assemblies, resolving product non-conformance and performance test failures.
  • •Serve as a liaison between Assembly, Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Planning; participate in process improvements and lead team meetings.
  • •Manage department workflow, transact completed work orders across inventory locations, run daily production reports in a supervisor absence, maintain safe/clean work areas, and support calibration/equipment issue escalation.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •10+ years of aerospace assembly and testing experience with hydraulic or electromechanical control valves and knowledge of hydraulic test equipment.
  • •1+ year experience assisting and/or leading teams or initiatives.
  • •Ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical blueprints and test schematics, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • •Working knowledge of shop/mechanical/electrical test equipment and procedures, including using inspection gages, multimeters, force scales, and torque wrenches.
