Job Summary

Protect Braze employees, assets, and work locations as a Senior Security Engineer on the Enterprise Security team. You’ll design and operate security infrastructure across cloud, product, and systems—investigating advanced threats and malware, implementing DLP, hardening internal configurations, expanding SIEM detections, and automating alerting and reporting. Partner with technical stakeholders to improve IAM/SSO/MDM and security posture, lead security reviews for SaaS and business partners, and respond to critical incidents through on-call rotation.

•Investigate malware and advanced threats, and expand forensics capabilities across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
•Configure detections and enhance alerting to expand SIEM capabilities; develop and document processes and policy controls within SaaS and automation technologies.
•Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents and escalations; mentor junior associates and guide security activities like vulnerability testing and analysis.

•5+ years of Security Engineering experience focused on enterprise security, network security, and endpoint security.
•3+ years working in a corporate security organization/environment with hands-on, technical, user-facing security implementation.
•Experience serving as a technical authority in a team environment.
•Direct hands-on experience securing SaaS applications, including email, Mac endpoints, IAM, and CrowdStrike EDR, plus forensics and enterprise networking security.
•Conduct end-to-end security reviews of SaaS applications, including data flow analysis, architecture, authentication/authorization controls, and third-party security requirements.
