Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee below-ground drainage inspection activities (soil, waste, stormwater, grease waste, pumped drainage) to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, client standards, and DM regulations.
  • •Conduct inspections of pipe materials and critical parameters (dimensions, gradients, invert levels, bedding, joint integrity) before authorising backfilling or concrete surround.
  • •Inspect drainage penetrations and verify installed waterproofing details, thrust blocks, and pipe restraint systems.
  • •Verify cast-in-situ and precast manhole construction, including dimensional accuracy, cover levels, waterproofing, and access provisions for future maintenance.
  • •Enforce HSE on site, stop work for unsafe conditions, and produce daily/weekly inspection summary reports with test results, defects, risks, and recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 8 years’ experience in plumbing and fire protection system design.
  • •Strong knowledge of local UAE / GCC codes and regulations related to mechanical system design.
  • •Proficiency in design software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
