Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery in a scrap yard environment, ensuring all work meets Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Diagnose mechanical faults, replace worn components, test repaired equipment, and document maintenance activities. Read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings to support quality control and compliance with manufacturer specifications, while assisting with yard needs and special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
•Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning machinery components; maintain equipment operating condition.
•Reassemble equipment after inspections/testing/repairs and operate newly repaired equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.
•Test mechanical products and equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications; clean and lubricate equipment and vehicles.
•Diagnose faults or malfunctions using diagnostic equipment, record repairs/maintenance performed, and support special projects as assigned.

•Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile.
