Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multiple procurement projects for New Product Development by building and executing project implementation plans with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • •Monitor active projects, update status, eliminate roadblocks, escalate issues, and investigate and communicate project changes.
  • •Identify gaps to goals and develop countermeasures to exceed targets, partnering to support project charter, benefits, and resource requirements.
  • •Lead supplier rationalization, quality, and delivery improvement projects; manage supplier relationships and contracts based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • •Align sourcing strategies between Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure supply continuity, including participation in cross-functional gate reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • •5+ years of project management experience in an industrial or HVAC manufacturer across procurement, engineering, project management, quality, finance and/or operations.
  • •Experience working in a plant/manufacturing environment.
  • •Demonstrated independent thinking and multi-tasking with proactive planning, issue anticipation, and strong problem resolution.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong influencing and negotiating across the organization.
