Job Summary

Support machining center installations and ongoing production operations by performing configuration management activities, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement work. •Support new machining center installations and/or existing machining production operations through configuration management, paperwork activities, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
•Troubleshoot and perform improvement activities for technical system and equipment issues.
•Apply systems and equipment expertise to resolve technical issues in cooperation with related disciplines.
•Work in an NRC/DOE regulated environment and apply Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance practices.
•Interface effectively with clients, production/support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees; work in a production environment (M–Th 40 hrs/week with occasional overtime).

Key Requirements

•Requires an ABET-accredited BS in an engineering discipline plus 10+ years of relevant professional experience, or an MS plus 7+ years.
•Must have machining background experience.
•Perform troubleshooting and improvement activities to resolve technical system and equipment issues.
•Desirable experience in an NRC or DOE regulated environment, including understanding Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance.
•Q clearance required; ability to complete required pre-employment drug screen and medical exams.
