Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day and strategic relationships with last-mile and middle-mile carriers across Canada.
  • •Hold carriers accountable to agreed KPIs, including on-time performance and contactless completion error rates, and run regular business reviews with escalations and corrective action plans.
  • •Lead end-to-end onboarding of new carrier partners, including operational setup, system integration, and readiness validation, while identifying and filling network gaps.
  • •Own carrier cost performance by developing and executing a roadmap to reduce cost per shipment without compromising service quality, including rate negotiations and contract renewals.
  • •Monitor quality and service metrics, build reporting frameworks and scorecards, contribute to long-term network strategy, and partner cross-functionally to align carrier performance with business goals.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations, focused on carrier management, partner onboarding, and network optimization.
  • •Experience managing carriers against performance KPIs (e.g., on-time performance and service failures) and leading corrective action processes.
  • •Strong commercial acumen for rate negotiations, contract management, and cost modeling.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets to build and manage performance scorecards and cost trackers.
  • •Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and routing/logistics platforms; analytical mindset to translate carrier data trends into action plans.
