Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development and long-term capability of Combat Systems and Electrical engineering disciplines within the Warship Technical Authority.
  • •Develop and execute workforce planning, recruitment, development, retention, and succession planning for the disciplines.
  • •Partner with Technical Leads to understand future requirements and maintain workforce readiness across commitments and deliverables.
  • •Embed consistent people management, performance, development, and Asset Management ways of working.
  • •Collaborate across engineering teams to share best practices, develop standards, and support in-service capability delivery and business growth.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 65,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Lead workforce planning, recruitment, development and retention across Electrical and Combat Systems disciplines.
  • •Align engineering capability with demand and prioritise commitments and deliverables.
  • •Collaborate with Technical Leads to understand future requirements and maintain workforce readiness.
  • •Embed consistent people management, performance, development and Asset Management ways of working.
  • •Degree-qualified in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with engineering leadership experience and professional registration (IEng/CEng).
