Shape monetization strategy for the Japan business by partnering with sales and cross-functional leaders to evaluate performance and build long- and short-term plans for sustainable revenue growth. Lead external research on competitors, industry, and macro trends to uncover market opportunities and value drivers. Drive KPI definition, performance analysis, reporting cadence, and business review visibility, while coordinating initiatives across Japan and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the strategic partner for Japan management across sales, product, and marketing to develop monetization strategies and short-term business plans for sustainable revenue growth.
•Conduct external research on competitors, industry, and macro movements to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and key value drivers.
•Provide leadership with visibility into business and revenue performance, manage performance analysis and reporting, and oversee the cadence of business reviews.
•Define key performance metrics and set KPIs to drive business growth; track progress and optimize business operations.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Japan and APAC on initiatives including new business launches in Japan.

Key Requirements

•More than 3 years of work experience in management consulting, sales strategy, equity research, investment banking, or related roles.
•Demonstrated research and analytical skills; proficiency in SQL is a plus.
•Fluency in both Japanese and English with professional communication skills.
•Experience in high-growth tech startups and digital advertising is preferred.
•Strong project management, stakeholder management, and written/verbal communication across cross-team and cross-region collaboration.
