Job Summary

QC Inspector, E&I will perform and witness inspections of electrical and instrumentation works per ITPs, ensuring adherence to project standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BS) and approved drawings. You’ll coordinate with construction teams, review QA/QC documentation, manage NCRs, and support handover dossiers, contributing to quality control across HVAC-related EPC projects in Oil & Energy.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out inspections and surveillance of Electrical and Instrumentation works in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
•Inspect installation of cable trays, conduits, cables (LV/MV/Control/FO), lighting, earthing, panels, junction boxes, instruments, impulse tubing, and field devices.
•Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and vendor data.
•Witness and verify continuity, insulation resistance (IR), megger, HV/LV cable testing, loop checking, and functional testing.
•Review and raise Request for Inspection Requests (RFI / IRs) and ensure timely closure.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline
•Additional QA/QC certifications are preferred
•Minimum 3-7 years of experience in HVAC Quality Control within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, Power Plant, or EPC projects
•Knowledge of inspection procedures and quality standards
•Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and turnover packages
