Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end: outcomes and metrics, backlog prioritized by value/risk/dependency/strategic priority, and crisp acceptance criteria.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering, including money-movement correctness (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation), failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
  • •Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, and defend decisions with engineering, compliance, or operations stakeholders.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, privacy) and manage launch gates.
  • •Apply AI safely by defining what it can decide, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation approach, and handling for uncertain outputs; ensure AI numbers trace to real records.

Key Requirements

  • •Product leadership with significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end and making decisive trade-offs under ambiguity.
  • •Strong technical foundation in system design (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency/consistency) and the ability to challenge design docs.
  • •Domain experience in a regulated/high-consequence environment such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or fast ramp capability).
  • •Hands-on AI judgment for LLM-based products, including evaluation design (offline/online/human feedback) and realistic understanding of hallucination/drift/data gaps.
  • •Comfort working across technical and regulated product constraints, including understanding which launch gates are hard vs forward-ready.
