Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead syndication and distribution strategies for syndicated loan transactions, including investor targeting, pricing guidance, allocations, and execution.
  • •Advise clients and internal partners on capital structure, market conditions, investor demand, and financing alternatives.
  • •Conduct market soundings and assess investor appetite for new and existing transactions across the syndication lifecycle.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with banks, non-bank institutional investors, and other capital providers to support distribution objectives.
  • •Provide market intelligence by monitoring primary and secondary loan market activity, pricing trends, liquidity conditions, and competitor transactions; represent KeyBanc Capital Markets in client/investor events and mentor junior professionals.

Salary: USD 165,000 - 345,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years of experience in loan syndications, debt capital markets, leveraged finance, investment banking, corporate banking, or related fields.
  • •Demonstrated success originating, structuring, underwriting, syndicating, and distributing complex financing transactions.
  • •Strong network of institutional investors, banks, and other loan market participants with ability to lead client relationships and influence senior decision-makers.
  • •Deep understanding of syndicated loan markets, credit analysis, capital structures, and loan documentation.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or equivalent experience; FINRA SIE and Series 7/79 and Series 63 required or to be obtained within required timeframes.
