Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations in collaboration with test engineers and technician teams.
  • •Lead or assist in incident investigations, including follow-up, root cause analysis, and corrective action development and closure.
  • •Develop and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines established by agencies including OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and the EPA.
  • •Complete job hazard assessments with department leadership and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  • •Implement environmental and safety programs, monitor employee exposure hazards, inspect safety equipment, and maintain safety contingency plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5+ years of experience in the design, development, and operational oversight of environmental, health and safety disciplines.
  • •Strong knowledge and experience interpreting, applying, and documenting federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • •Ability to research and apply best industrial and working practices for effective safety services.
  • •Experience and/or education in construction safety.
