Job Summary

Manage Finance activities for Finland and Denmark, based in Helsinki, reporting to the Regional Finance Leader and supporting the management team with business insight and guidance. Ensure timely corporate reporting aligned with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, including SOX/FCPA controls. Drive month-end close, controllership for AOP, forecasts, variance analysis, and annual planning. Lead internal controls, coordinate with key finance functions, and partner with auditors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage Finance function activities for Finland and Denmark and provide advice, counsel, and business insight to leaders.
•Ensure corporate reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, including SOX/FCPA and local statutory and tax requirements.
•Ensure project recording and treatment (booking/revenue and costs) follow relevant policies, LOA, and processes.
•Deliver a timely month-end close and perform controlling for daily business including AOP, monthly forecast, variance analysis, and reporting to the regional controller.
•Lead internal controls, manage forecasts and annual AOP processes, partner with finance support functions, and cooperate with internal and external auditors.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance; CMA, MBA, or other financial certificates are a plus.
•5+ years of work experience in trade and/or service sectors (US company experience is highly desirable).
•Knowledge of local GAAP and U.S. GAAP and ability to ensure reporting and compliance requirements are met.
•Experience with ERP systems; Oracle R12 knowledge is preferable.
•Very good knowledge of Excel and very good command of English; able to work independently and take responsibility for accounting, controlling, and reporting.
