Key Responsibilities

  • •Be responsible to the Site Maintenance Lead for ongoing support and performance of all technical operations equipment at site.
  • •Carry out technical support for radar and associated systems in accordance with the Maintenance Management Plan and subordinate documents.
  • •Perform planned maintenance and operational-level activities, including rectification of deficiencies and defects within site systems.
  • •Complete all fault reporting requirements and analyse alarm information and systems data to diagnose performance and fault events.
  • •Use test equipment to carry out diagnostic and performance testing and perform other duties as directed by the Site Leads.

Key Requirements

  • •Certificate III or IV in Electronics and Communications (or equivalent) with hands-on experience in RF systems.
  • •Exposure to additional disciplines such as computing (Linux, UNIX, Windows), analogue, control, and digital control systems.
  • •Experience using or quickly adapting to Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) with strong computer literacy and ability to interpret maintenance data.
  • •Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, maintaining effective relationships across different levels of an organisation.
  • •NV1 Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain) and eligibility to be cleared for ITAR regulations; applicants must be Australian citizens.
