Job Summary

Design, implement, test, and maintain the physical and MAC layer software for the Starlink wireless communications network. •Architect current and next-gen Starlink hardware and signal processing algorithms.
•Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, verification, and launch.
•Collaborate with other teams for cross-layer integration of the end-to-end system.
•Develop prototypes to prove design concepts and quantify technical constraints.

Salary: USD 125,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a STEM discipline OR 2+ years of professional software engineering experience programming with C or C++.
•Experience working with wireless software or network protocols.
•Strong knowledge of wireless communications, signal processing, and/or network protocols.
•Knowledge of RF systems fundamentals including noise figure, link budget, and non-linearity.
•Experience designing and implementing DSP algorithms such as FFT, channel estimation, pilot tracking, digital pre-distortion, or doppler compensation.
