Job Summary

Join the Project Controls team as a Risk Manager supporting high-profile infrastructure projects across energy, renewables, defence, rail and utilities. You’ll lead risk identification, assessment and response planning, track risk exposure against budget and timeline, and deliver fit-for-purpose risk reports to senior management using tools like Safran, @risk, PRA and data visualization platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Facilitate identification, assessment and prioritisation of threats, opportunities, and issues.
•Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of threat/opportunity.
•Assist with the identification and development of appropriate management responses which are measurable and specific, along with assessing the post mitigated positions.
•Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining risk budget and timeline.
•Produce and present fit for purpose risk reports, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat & opportunity status and required senior management action.

Key Requirements

•A working understanding of developing and implementing integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programmes and projects.
•Experience in risk delivery on major projects or blue-chip clients; project experience in energy, renewables, defence, rail and utilities is a plus.
•Experience with qualitative and quantitative risk assessment and probabilistic modelling (e.g., @risk, PRA or equivalent) and willingness to training.
•Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and commitment to improving ways of working.
•Attainment or working towards IRM / APM risk certification is preferred.
