Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend and contribute to backlog estimations, sprint planning, and sprint reviews in an Agile environment.
  • •Write and maintain unit, integration, and regression tests; ensure code quality with linting and static analysis.
  • •Conduct architectural peer reviews and collaborate with teammates to balance client needs with maintainability and scalability.
  • •Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based local development environments; implement linting and testing tools.
  • •Develop and maintain WordPress plugins/themes at enterprise scale, ensuring VIP coding standards and deployment requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35 - 60 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of WordPress development experience, including building complex custom plugins and themes from scratch.
  • •Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience developing for enterprise hosting platforms (e.g., WordPress VIP).
  • •Experience with modern WordPress development practices, including Gutenberg blocks, REST API, WP-CLI, and coding standards.
  • •Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated testing (unit/integration/Playwright) and static analysis (PHPStan).
  • •Ability to participate in Agile/Scrum processes, perform code reviews, and guide technical direction for projects.
