Job Summary

Develop next-generation RFICs for space and ground Starlink infrastructure, working with cross-disciplinary teams across systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, and product engineering. Simulate and model RF front-end systems, derive RF hardware specifications, design RF/microwave circuits and components, and evaluate prototype performance. Support automated test equipment development and collaborate with manufacturing engineers on production testing of RF avionics components and systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Simulate/model RF front-end systems and partition functions between hardware and software domains.
•Derive RF hardware specifications for the RF system and RF blocks.
•Develop RF/microwave circuits, components, MMICs, boards, and packages.
•Evaluate, characterize, and analyze prototypes and full radio performance.
•Assist in developing automated test equipment and support production testing of RF avionics components and systems.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
•2+ years of research and/or industry experience in RF/microwave circuit design.
•Experience designing linear and non-linear RF circuits such as power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, filters, and PLLs.
•Knowledge of RF passive components.
•Familiarity with radio test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers.
