Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and direct crew members to maximize daily production while resolving personnel discrepancies and disputes.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety practices, PPE requirements, and GMP/HACCP and SQF procedures, including proper SQF practices (e.g., boxes on floor, tape usage).
  • •Monitor machinery, environment, production flow, scrap levels, and quality standards; record production data accurately.
  • •Troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensure printers are repaired properly and promptly, and minimize downtime with coordination from Quality Control.
  • •Lead safety risk assessments and required meetings, complete incident investigations/root-cause analysis, and drive corrective/preventive actions while coaching employee performance and training.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •3-5 years of previous supervisory, quality, and/or dry offset printing experience.
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with groups of employees.
  • •Ability to perform essential physical duties and work in a loud manufacturing environment with mechanical parts, fumes/particles, and extreme heat.
