Lead a night-shift manufacturing crew by planning daily production, monitoring equipment and environment, and enforcing safety, GMP/HACCP, PPE, SQF, and quality standards. Troubleshoot mechanical issues, minimize scrap and downtime, coordinate with Quality Control, and lead safety risk assessments and incident investigations to drive corrective and preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and direct crew members to maximize daily production while resolving personnel discrepancies and disputes.
•Ensure compliance with safety practices, PPE requirements, and GMP/HACCP and SQF procedures, including proper SQF practices (e.g., boxes on floor, tape usage).
•Monitor machinery, environment, production flow, scrap levels, and quality standards; record production data accurately.
•Troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensure printers are repaired properly and promptly, and minimize downtime with coordination from Quality Control.
•Lead safety risk assessments and required meetings, complete incident investigations/root-cause analysis, and drive corrective/preventive actions while coaching employee performance and training.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•3-5 years of previous supervisory, quality, and/or dry offset printing experience.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with groups of employees.
•Ability to perform essential physical duties and work in a loud manufacturing environment with mechanical parts, fumes/particles, and extreme heat.
