Key Responsibilities

  • •Use safe working practices and wear proper protective equipment during operations.
  • •Set up and operate the mixer system to produce compound needed for production and maintain blend inventory levels in silos.
  • •Weigh ingredients to the required formulation, recognize ingredients visually, and add materials to the compounder in the proper order.
  • •Connect mixer to the correct conveying system and pump to the proper silo; supply materials to the weigh station and operate a forklift in tight areas.
  • •Perform daily inspections of blending equipment, write work orders for repairs, complete required paperwork, and assist maintenance when requested.
