Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive repair orders from dispatcher and perform work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy to dealer and factory standards.
  • •Diagnose the cause of malfunctions, execute repairs, and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • •Examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs, notify service advisors when additional work isn’t needed or can’t be completed on time, and document work performed.
  • •Road-test vehicles when required (or refer to the test technician) and keep customer vehicles from being used for personal errands.
  • •Supervise assigned apprentice technicians; attend factory training, keep current with technical bulletins, and follow safety policies and hazardous waste disposal regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10 years of Honda Dealership experience preferred (other technician experience considered).
  • •High CSI is required.
  • •ASE or manufacturing training; high school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • •All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and be able to pass pre-employment testing (background check, MVR, drug test, valid driver license).
