Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in oversight of risk, controls, and conduct within the Treasury organisation in line with HSBC’s Risk Management Framework.
  • •Develop and manage implementation of Treasury operational plans and priorities; manage risk management activities to meet service standards and outputs.
  • •Support effective execution of global governance: escalation, remediation, assurance, deep-dives, read-across, issue management, and conduct/control standards.
  • •Build and maintain a robust control environment, ensuring compliance with HSBC policies and procedures and timely identification and resolution/escalation of issues.
  • •Lead development and implementation of management information, analysis, and reporting frameworks to support decision-making at all levels.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in business management or risk/control roles within a Treasury or Markets business.
  • •Understanding of Treasury/Markets business and products.
  • •Excellent knowledge and skills in Excel and PowerPoint; ARIS knowledge is an added advantage.
  • •Knowledge of VBA, Python, or automation tools is an added advantage.
  • •Strong analytical, project management, and written/verbal communication skills, able to negotiate with senior business leaders.
