Key Responsibilities

  • •Own company-wide architecture strategy connecting Edge, Backbone, Data Center, and SDN/Cloud into a single coherent fabric optimized for AI/HPC workloads.
  • •Arbitrate cross-domain tradeoffs (e.g., backbone capacity vs. fabric bandwidth vs. SDN overlay overhead) and drive decisions with company-wide impact.
  • •Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, and design review processes; own final sign-off on major architecture decisions and ensure production delivery.
  • •Set PoP design and expansion strategy (peering, IX participation, edge compute/caching placement) and long-haul/core design including redundancy and failover posture.
  • •Define strategy for spine-leaf and RDMA interconnects, power/cooling-aware rack design, Kubernetes networking (CNI, network policy, service mesh), and execute executive-level remediation for major outages.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in network engineering/architecture, including 5+ years managing skilled ICs.
