Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in accordance with applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on schedule while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain invoices and shipping paperwork and deliver documentation after route completion, including routine truck service checks and reporting malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Class A CDL or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight required by the state.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing per federal/state DOT regulations.
  • •Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and travel frequently.
