Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are achieved through value-added cost management
  • •Estimate, negotiate, and reconcile change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, including producing and presenting the final cost plan
  • •Collaborate with design services teams and the general contractor to develop cost estimates and ensure contractor data accuracy
  • •Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, cost auditing, valuations, and manage cost variances/change of control processes
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports, coordinate funding data presentations and VE sessions, and support final account negotiation

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large, medium-to-high complexity construction projects
  • •Strong knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering, with excellent communication skills
