Job Summary

Lead the site’s Quality (Product Safety & Compliance) function and act as the functional management representative for aviation and non-aviation regulatory approvals. You’ll oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), ensure product and process compliance across aerospace operations (OEM and Aftermarket), drive audits and corrective actions, and champion continuous improvement—including Lean methodologies and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality—while managing and developing the Quality team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the site’s Quality function, including policy, standards, compliance oversight, and resource management.
•Serve as functional management representative for aviation and non-aviation regulatory approvals.
•Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality & Safety Management System, supporting a “Just culture” environment, and report performance to leadership.
•Ensure product and process compliance across aerospace operations (OEM and Aftermarket) and achieve quality objectives on time and within budget.
•Lead and develop the Quality team; conduct audit programs, drive corrective actions, maintain QMS documentation and training, and run continuous improvement initiatives (including COPQ reduction and prevention of escapes).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of managerial experience in a medium-sized operational facility, preferably in aviation maintenance, repair, or service.
•Proven experience managing technical operations with strong understanding of facility production processes.
•Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Safety Management Systems, including measurement, analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
•Demonstrated expertise in Lean methodologies and CI events (e.g., root cause analysis, value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen) in regulated manufacturing or aerospace environments.
•Experience conducting and leading audits in a regulated aerospace environment, including formal auditor training and knowledge of OEM and Aftermarket regulatory requirements.
