Own the voice of Function across product and member communications, shaping copy that’s clear, supportive, and trusted at every touchpoint. Partner with Product Design, PMM, and Clinical teams to ensure content is accurate and on-brand, raising edge cases early. Create UX writing upstream of design decisions, steward brand voice at scale, and iterate data-informed with A/B testing, feedback, and performance insights.

Key Responsibilities

•Create product copy across touchpoints including in-app flows, onboarding, member communications, notifications, action plans, empty states, and error handling.
•Define, evolve, and defend Function’s brand voice across surfaces and contributors.
•Collaborate with Design, Product, and Clinical teams to ensure copy is accurate, human, and on-brand while flagging inconsistencies and edge cases.
•Shape the full experience with UX writing upstream of design decisions.
•Iterate continuously using data-informed methods like A/B testing, member feedback, and performance data, and raise editorial standards org-wide.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of UX writing or product copywriting experience, ideally in consumer health, wellness, or complex-product contexts with a portfolio demonstrating range.
•Fluency across copy types (in-product flows, email, campaign headlines, onboarding, error states) with consistent quality.
•Strong voice and tone calibration for sensitive health information and conversion moments.
•Experience in health, wellness, or clinical tech, including comfort with medical terminology and high-stakes information.
•Comfort working in Figma and using AI tooling (e.g., Claude, Cursor) with an AI-native mindset for LLM-generated language.
