Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with HPWT (High Performance Work Teams) to achieve Hive Five Metrics.
  • •Propose and implement actions to reduce scrap in the molding area and define efficient molding processes.
  • •Improve efficiency and cycle time in molding processes using value engineering, DOE, and RIE events.
  • •Plan and manage equipment installation, layout changes, and improvements; validate new molds and process parameters.
  • •Perform process validation for engineering changes/new products (PPAP Level 3) and train/validate technical and operational personnel on molding equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering (Polymers), Tool Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of experience in molding/process engineering or similar roles.
  • •Fluency in English/Spanish.
  • •Experience with cost-out projects and problem-solving methods such as 5 Why’s and 8D’s.
  • •Working knowledge of statistical tools (Minitab) and scientific molding (Master Molder 1).
