Key Responsibilities

  • •Layout and section off test material, and produce test specimens for metallurgical testing.
  • •Perform machining operations such as turning, facing, grinding, threading, polishing, and redlining of test specimens.
  • •Prepare etched samples and machine test specimens into required shapes and forms.
  • •Operate the Hot Compression Tester and related equipment in conjunction with IFPTE techs to produce test specimens.
  • •Store, scrap, dispose, and manage acceptance/production test materials, including pickup and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •1+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • •1+ years of machining experience.
  • •Experience reading blueprints.
  • •Pass the aptitude test.
