Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost strategies and procurement, including prequalification of vendors, assessing proposals and bid leveling documents, and chairing bid interviews.
  • •Develop and review project estimates and benchmarks; present estimates plus value engineering recommendations and risk assessments to clients.
  • •Establish reporting schedules and manage cost reporting, reviewing cost reports and forecasts, budgets/spend forecasts, and maintaining a commercial risk register.
  • •Manage cost control: review payment application assessments, recommend contractor entitlements, assess change orders, and support dispute prevention/management/resolution.
  • •Manage invoicing and final accounts through post-contract audits and close outs, including lesson-learned reviews and procedures governing project handover.
Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or actively working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large-sized construction projects.
  • •Experience with estimating, cost planning, cost reporting, change management, final accounts, and contractor procurement.
