Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage, and review process design for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, including site surveys and coordination with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • •Perform hydraulic assessments and calculations, including existing process capacity assessments, basis of design development, mass/energy balances, headloss calculations, and pumping system analysis.
  • •Develop process equipment designs and deliverables such as PFDs and P&IDs, plus technical specifications, reports, and documentation including Hazardous Area Classification and LoPA.
  • •Participate in safety reviews (HAZOP and HAZID) and produce documentation to relevant standards and procedures.
  • •Drive design through feasibility to construction design, mentor junior staff, support bid/proposal preparation, review/verifies client deliverables, and help integrate digital tools into the design process.

  • •Extensive experience managing the technical delivery of large-scale water engineering projects with multidisciplinary knowledge.
  • •BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
  • •Chartered Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
  • •Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and line management.
  • •Strong collaboration and coordination skills across teams, clients, and stakeholders.
