Job Summary

Own the technical development of subsea well access and intervention concepts across riser-based, riserless, light well intervention, P&A, inspection, maintenance, and offshore lifecycle scopes. Evaluate offshore envelopes (water depth, metocean), interfaces, tooling compatibility, ROV requirements, vessel spreads, and execution constraints, then quantify performance, integrity, abandonment readiness, and risk for proposals. Mentor junior engineers and challenge gaps to ensure concepts are executable.

Key Responsibilities

•Define subsea access and intervention concepts across riser-based, riserless, light well intervention, P&A, inspection, maintenance, and offshore lifecycle scopes.
•Assess operating envelopes and interfaces including water depth, metocean, wellhead/tree interfaces, tooling compatibility, ROV requirements, vessel spread, and equipment availability.
•Apply practical knowledge of subsea trees, wellheads, controls, intervention systems, riserless packages, light well intervention systems, ROV tooling, vessels, P&A equipment, and offshore support services.
•Identify design inputs across wells, subsea/marine/controls/facilities, HSE, logistics, regulatory, and commercial areas; challenge missing data before a concept is positioned as executable.
•Define offshore execution constraints (logistics, weather sensitivity, regulatory requirements, SIMOPS, HSE exposure) and quantify restoration, injectivity, integrity risk reduction, abandonment readiness, and execution risks; review scopes and ensure assumptions are realistic and aligned to integrated field management objectives.

•15+ years of experience in subsea intervention, subsea well access, offshore execution, P&A, or subsea lifecycle operations.
•Deep understanding of subsea trees, wellheads, intervention systems, tooling interfaces, ROV operations, vessel spreads, and offshore execution risk.
•Proven ability to frame subsea intervention value propositions and defend techno-economic options with clients and leadership teams.
•Worked on real offshore projects progressing from concept design and pre-FEED/FEED through execution, closeout, and performance/integrity monitoring.
