Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, validate, implement, control, monitor, and improve manufacturing methods for Cobra golf heads and components using product design, materials, processes, tooling, surface finishing, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • •Support development and quality assurance at Cobra manufacturing facilities in Vietnam (T1 head suppliers and related T2/T3 factories), from product tooling and sampling through mass production until EOL.
  • •Serve as the technical communication focal point in Vietnam, help the US Design team evaluate new concepts quickly, and develop innovative, robust, sustainable manufacturing processes.
  • •Facilitate testing and evaluation methods, use data to validate conclusions, and lead mass production readiness activities including process validation, PFMEA/PCP creation, pilot run oversight, and process audits for on-time release.
  • •Resolve complex technical problems using statistical methods to determine root causes and recommend changes to designs, tolerances, and/or processes; monitor and improve supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent manufacturing experience) plus 3+ years in process development engineering or quality assurance within manufacturing (golf industry preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of golf-related manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, composites, welding, painting, plating, coating, metallurgy, and tool design.
  • •Familiarity with Asia-based manufacturing technologies/suppliers and Cobra product lines.
  • •Proven ability to work independently to develop, implement, and execute operational programs and process integrations for finished products.
  • •Lean/Six Sigma tool experience with data analysis skills; Green/Black Belt certification is a plus.
