Key Responsibilities

  • •Create complex 3D CAD models of propulsion components and subsystems in Siemens NX and produce supporting schematics and technical drawings.
  • •Support estimation of component mass, cost, and lead time from CAD models and drawings.
  • •Create and maintain manufacturing/assembly documentation including BOMs, assembly instructions, and technical reports.
  • •Ensure configuration management and version control of CAD models and drawings, keeping released sets consistent and traceable.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally, verify standards compliance (ISO/ANSI), apply GD&T, and check manufacturability/inspectability before releasing designs.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. degree in engineering and 3+ years of related experience.
  • •Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX (or similar).
  • •Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • •Experience with tubing and brackets design constraints, manufacturing processes, and inspection (plus).
  • •Attention to detail and a strong understanding of engineering standards, manufacturing processes, and analysis principles.
