Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute a strategic business plan to expand Allianz Trade’s America’s Surety business in the region.
  • •Develop and underwrite a profitable surety portfolio through active engagement with existing and new broker relationships.
  • •Document underwriting decisions and recommendations consistently and transparently.
  • •Establish and maintain key broker and nationally-focused account relationships while aligning with underwriting guidelines and portfolio management requirements.
  • •Collaborate globally with Allianz colleagues to leverage surety capabilities and coordinate on risk and underwriting issues.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of surety underwriting experience, including proven ability to underwrite and grow a Surety portfolio.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of contract surety and strong understanding of the U.S. surety market.
  • •Strong broker relationship and business development track record, particularly with national and regional brokers.
  • •Experience developing and managing marketing plans, business plans, and budgets for surety distribution channels.
  • •College degree with emphasis in business, economics, or finance, plus strong communication and ability to work independently with limited oversight.
