Job Summary

Junior bridges and structures engineer supporting the design of bridges and structures across feasibility to detailed engineering, collaborating in multidisciplinary teams on transportation projects. Will work autonomously on small projects or parts of larger ones, perform detailed calculations, ensure work aligns with budgets and schedules, contribute to quality reviews, and mentor recently graduated engineers in a European design center.

Key Responsibilities

•Work autonomously on small projects or parts of larger projects with Enterprise Capabilities, following bridges and structures procedures.
•Engage in detailed engineering assignments or routine engineering that involve straightforward calculations and tests.
•Carry out structural engineering work in accordance with the budget and schedule with limited supervision.
•Perform self-checks of your work before presenting it and participate in quality control reviews of documentation.
•Prepare project deliverables for review by more experienced team members and provide guidance to newly graduated engineers.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2 years of experience in bridge and/or structural design.
•Experience with major standards (AASTHO; AREMA, Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.).
•Proven ability to operate engineering calculation software for bridges and structures (preferably Midas Civil; knowledge of CSiBridge, SAP2000, etc.).
•Experience on North American projects is a plus.
•Fluent English (spoken and written) and a Master's degree in Bridge/Geotechnical/Civil Engineering.
