Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and optimize unit wet etch processes to meet yield and quality requirements for advanced NAND products.
  • •Quantify benefits of innovative process/equipment solutions to enable early experimentation and adoption for process margin improvement.
  • •Prioritize Singapore Wet Etch team technology issues, integrate and troubleshoot processes, and drive yield and quality improvements with cross-functional teams.
  • •Initiate and manage experiments to widen process margins, test manufacturability of next node solutions, and identify process simplification opportunities.
  • •Lead complex multi-disciplinary projects in quality/process/yield/cost improvement meetings, advise management on technical issues, and help drive innovation through patents/technical papers while protecting Micron IP.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD/Masters/Bachelor degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical/Microelectronic Engineering with minimum 3 years hands-on experience leading wet etch technology work.
  • •Deep understanding of chemistry, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, mass transport, and related physical phenomena for wet etch processes.
  • •Deep understanding of films and interface engineering/analysis techniques including SIMS, XPS, EDX, SEM/TEM.
  • •Understanding of wet etch process flow for planar and vertical NAND memory and its integration/structural impacts and constraints.
  • •Proven collaboration with local and overseas teams, with excellent oral and written communication skills; able to work extended hours if required.
