Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer aviation projects with responsibility for budget, schedule, and quality adherence according to contract documents and procedures.
  • •Oversee design and construction support activities and ensure design consultants deliver on schedule and budget.
  • •Oversee the design review process to track, respond to, and close out comments within required timelines.
  • •Utilize DFW-approved tools (Unifier, BIM, Primavera P6, Sharepoint) to manage projects and report weekly via Project Status Reports.
  • •Coordinate with airport tenants, airlines, DFW departments, and governmental/agencies; resolve issues and support negotiation/review of change orders, claims, and scope revisions.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 10 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency), including 2 years of leadership.
  • •Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license and be able to obtain certification to drive in DFW’s AOA movement area.
  • •Must be able to obtain a SIDA-cleared badge at DFW.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management plus 12 years of relevant experience; experience with alternative delivery methods (including CGMP contracts).
