Job Summary

Receive, implement, and monitor program material orders, ensuring correct demand placement and adherence to guidelines for cost and delivery. Coordinate with customer stakeholders, Procurement, Warehouse, and the Technical Material Expediter to meet deadlines. Oversee material order entry, reservations, and exception reporting using Thales material planning systems, while aligning DRMIS with the Thales ERP for orders and invoicing. Support root-cause investigations and provide KPI updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Interface with the customer for material orders and ensure correct placement of material demand.
•Order materials to program guidelines while monitoring optimal cost and delivery time.
•Escalate material issues to Supply Support Analysts and work with Procurement and Warehouse on vendor quote accuracy.
•Coordinate with the Technical Material Expediter to obtain all material by required deadlines and oversee material order entry/purchase requisition data entry.
•Create material demands in Thales material planning systems, prioritize and update reservations, align DRMIS with Thales ERP for orders/invoicing, and provide exception reports/KPI updates; participate in root-cause investigations as needed.

Key Requirements

•1-3 years of experience working within the Military or a Defence Contract or project.
•Excellent communication and people skills for interfacing between multiple internal and external stakeholders.
•Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions and thorough understanding of maintenance schedules, including bill of materials (BOM).
•Strong computer literacy with proven Microsoft Office Suite experience.
•Experience with Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) is an asset; previous experience with IBM Maximo, SAP, or other ERP systems is required.
