Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems including air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, and related components.
  • •Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for launch-associated HVAC systems.
  • •Collaborate with engineering and managers to keep HVAC systems in peak operating condition.
  • •Perform ductwork modifications and various repairs, including brazing, soldering, evacuation and charging of refrigerants.
  • •Follow all regulations and SpaceX procedures, including quality and safety requirements per OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ASME, and NEC.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of professional experience working with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
  • •Ability to maintain HVAC systems while adhering to company policies, quality policies, and industry standards.
  • •Willingness to travel to various SpaceX locations for mission critical projects.
  • •Capability to safely work at heights (up to 500ft), in confined spaces, and perform listed physical requirements, including using an air purifying respirator.
