Job Summary

Lead and manage a network of 7–10 branches across Abu Dhabi Island 1, directing branch activities to deliver sales and customer satisfaction targets. Set and achieve area/cluster budget and KPI goals in partnership with the Regional Head, while managing and monitoring branch and sales/service team performance. Drive retail banking product sales through direct and cross-sell opportunities, ensure compliant, high-quality customer service, and represent the bank in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement distribution/network strategy and sales & services strategy with the Regional Head, agree area/cluster budget and KPI targets, and delegate targets to Branch/Cluster Managers.
•Manage, support, and monitor branches and branch/cluster managers to deliver agreed budget and KPI performance.
•Implement departmental policies, systems, and procedures to meet procedural and legislative requirements while delivering standardized, cost-effective service and customer experience.
•Identify and gather details for new business opportunities and for opening/relocating/removing a branch or ATM/CDM, including business justification.
•Define team goals and KPIs, develop talent through guidance and coaching with a focus on Emiratisation, and handle customer complaints in coordination with the Head of Customer Experience.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with experience in the branch network.
•10 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector, including at least 5 years in similar roles with progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the branch network.
•Experience implementing distribution/network strategy and sales & services strategy for an area/cluster.
•Proven ability to set and deliver budget and KPI targets while managing, supporting, and monitoring branches and branch/cluster managers.
•Ability to improve sales and service performance across retail banking products and address customer complaints in coordination with Customer Experience.
