Location: France
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Study, define, develop, and execute optical and performance tests for space optical instruments within the electro-optic performance service.
  • •Select the most suitable test method and produce uncertainty reports associated with each test.
  • •Specify and follow the “brand” realization of optical ground support equipment, either with subcontractors or via internal implementation.
  • •Write procedures for acceptance recipes, optical tuning, and testing activities.
  • •Perform tuning and testing across levels: component (detector/mirror/lens), subsystem (telescope/optical combination/focal plane, detection sub-assembly), and system (instrument and satellite).

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Optics/Space (e.g., Institut d’Optique, ENSSAT, Master OSAE, Polytech) and about 5 years of experience in a similar role in a complex environment.
  • •Proficiency in optical adjustment techniques including Fizeau-type interferometric measurement and the precision/uncertainty analysis needed for tuning.
  • •Experience with instrument/measurement techniques and dimensional measurement.
  • •Signal/data processing and scientific analysis, including WFE analysis using MATLAB, Python, and ZMAX.
  • •Experience with front-wave/interferometer usage and 3D measurement/laser alignment tools (laser tracker/vidéogramétrie), plus hexapode precision mechanisms.
