Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I by using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customers’ current and future needs. Recommend retail consumer and small business products, cross-sell to deepen relationships, and use approved marketing tools (including CAMP) to reach out and schedule reviews. Coordinate with business partners for referrals, support teller and platform staff responsibilities, and follow risk, ethics, and retail policies while meeting production and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Focus on cross-selling and support outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls.
•Serve as a trusted member of the financial center/platform staff by processing teller transactions, following confidentiality and ethics policies, and supporting loan and bankcard processes.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to perform sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to established customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to develop working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions.
