Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of automation systems.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
  • •Conduct regular system maintenance, including upgrades, backups, and configuration activities.
  • •Provide training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  • •Document all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years working in the field of automation as PLC/RTU Programmer and commissioning preferably on Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas and Infrastructures.
  • •Experience in working with various PLC platforms and RTUs like Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix, Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7, WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA and TBOX RTU.
  • •Experience in working with open communication protocols used in automation like Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQQT, DNP3 etc.
  • •Familiarity as well as control panels wirings and instrumentation.
