Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop plastic injection molding manufacturing processes for Starlink hardware
  • •Optimize injection molding processes through parameter optimization, DOE experiments, and trials to create a robust process
  • •Implement plug-and-play production processes capable of high-volume throughput (1M+ per year)
  • •Own the physical production layout to optimize material flow from receiving to line processes
  • •Drive design for test (DFT) and design for manufacturing (DFM) with design and test engineers

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics
  • •5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • •Direct experience with plastic injection molding
  • •Ability to design tooling for high volume manufacturing
  • •Experience with NX and Teamcenter
