Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform and support the monthly closing process for sites, including general accounting procedures and journal entries.
  • •Review and validate cash application for monthly invoice collections, and record/reconcile bank transactions.
  • •Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and monthly income/expense reconciliations.
  • •Ensure accuracy of taxes recorded (mainly VAT) and generate the monthly payment complement for collected invoices to comply with tax requirements.
  • •Review Treasury, ICA & ZBA and prepare monthly accruals for benefits (e.g., EPS, estate tax, insurances), supporting process improvement and audits as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • •2 to 3 years of experience in general accounting.
  • •Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting and tax regulations, including monthly closing experience.
  • •Experience with reconciliations, including IVA and CFDI.
  • •Exposure to US GAAP and MEX GAAP reporting requirements (SAP or Oracle knowledge is a plus).
