Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely move product through the warehouse using a hi-lift forklift.
  • •Pick and place pallets accurately within Tyson guidelines to prevent dumps or misaligned pallets.
  • •Remove plastic wrap on occasion prior to depositing pallets.
  • •Communicate effectively and timely to leadership when encountering difficulties or discrepancies.
  • •Follow all safety and policy procedures, complete Annual Food Defense Training, and keep the area clean as you go.

Key Requirements

  • •6 months of forklift experience with a single employer within the last 3 years, with no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the last 3 years.
  • •Preferred: cold storage experience.
  • •Preferred: 3 months stand-up forklift experience.
  • •Ability to meet physical requirements including pushing/pulling/bending/stooping/squatting/carrying 70 lbs or more up to 120 lbs and standing for extended periods.
  • •Must pass post-offer health assessment and drug screening.
